Hey, I'm Laia.

I'm a multidisciplinary professional sitting at the intersection of data, design, and technology. My background spans structural engineering, UX/UI design, and data analytics — now channelled into AI consulting at KPMG, where I help clients turn complexity into clarity.

I studied Engineering Design Technology and went on to complete a Master's in Big Data Analytics at the University of Central Missouri, where I also taught as a Graduate Assistant and redesigned the university's broadcast media presence. A postgraduate program in UX Design at the University of Texas formally bridged my technical and design worlds.

After 7 years living, studying, and competing in the U.S., I'm back in Barcelona — building data products, designing thoughtful experiences, and always looking for the next interesting problem to solve.
